2021 Toledo Football Schedule

        Toledo, Ohio – The University of Toledo announced the game times today for its first three home contests of the 2021 football season.
 
        In addition, four Rocket games were added to the national television schedule, giving Toledo a minimum of five contests on national TV in 2021. The Rockets' game at Notre Dame on Sept. 11 was previously announced as a 2:30 p.m. kickoff on NBC. Additional games may be added to the national TV slate at a later date.
 
        The kick times for the three home games include a 7:00 p.m. start in the home opener vs. Norfolk State on Saturday, Sept. 4; a 4:00 p.m. kickoff vs. Colorado State (ESPNU) on Sept. 18; and a noon kickoff for the Homecoming matchup vs. Northern Illinois (CBS Sports Network) on Oct. 9. The start time for one road game was also announced today, a 3:30 kickoff at Central Michigan on Oct. 16.
 
    Kickoff times for other games on the 2021 slate will be announced 12 days prior to game day. Three mid-week games will have start times between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. with still to be determined TV outlets: a home game on Tuesday Nov. 2 vs. Eastern Michigan (ESPN2/ESPNU/CBS Sports Network); at Bowling Green on Wednesday, Nov. 10 (ESPN2/ESPNU/CBS Sports Network); and Nov. 16 at Ohio  (ESPN2 or ESPN+). The season finale will be on Saturday, Nov. 27 vs. Akron (time and TV TBA).
 
            Head Coach Jason Candle's 2021 squad returns all 22 position starters from last year's team, which finished with a 4-2 record.
 
            Rocket football season tickets are on sale now for as low as $70. The University of Toledo announced yesterday that the Glass Bowl will be at full capacity for the 2021 season.
