TOLEDO, Ohio - Senior Petronela Simiuc will be competing in the 1500m at the West Coast Relays in Clovis, Calif. on Friday, April 30 at 8:40 P.M. PDT / 11:40 P.M. EST. The meet is hosted by Fresno State and will take place at nearby Veterans Memorial Stadium. 
 
Simiuc currently ranks first in the Mid-American Conference 1500m with a time of 4:17.44 at the Drake Relays. That time ranks 46^th nationally so she is looking to improve upon her time this weekend in order to qualify for the NCAA East Preliminaries on May 27-29 in Jacksonville, Fla.
