CLEVELAND, Ohio – Forward Ellie Pool has been named to the Mid-American Conference All-Freshman team for the 2021 spring season, the conference office announced on Thursday.
Pool started all seven matches for the Rockets and tied for the team lead in assists (2) and points (4). She also netted a goal at Western Michigan in a 1-1 (OT) draw vs. the Broncos on March 21. Pool's two assists lifted Toledo to a 2-0 (OT) victory at Northern Illinois on March 28
Pool's honor marks the fourth straight year a Rocket has received MAC All-Freshman Team accolades. The previous recipients were forward Stephanie Currie (2019), midfielder Ashton Cassel (2018) and goalkeeper Madison Perrin (2017).
