TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo battled hard against Central Michigan on Friday afternoon at Paul Hotmer Field but ended up on the short end of a 2-1 decision to the Chippewas.

Sophia Lewis put the Rockets (0-3) on the board first when she broke free from the CMU defense 12 minutes into the game and put it in the net.
CMU (2-1) evened the contest at 1-1 at the 29' mark when Fotini Demetriou scored from about six feet out following a corner kick.
The Chippewas' Natalie Belsito netted the game-winner with 18:33 remaining.

The Rockets are back in action again on Thursday, March 18 when they travel to Ypsilanti, Mich. to face Eastern Michigan.
