TOLEDO, Ohio – Sophomore
Ryan Rollins scored a game-high 27 points and sank two free throws with 6.4 seconds left to lift Toledo (7-2) to a 67-65 victory over Bradley (4-6) on Tuesday night in Savage Arena. The Braves had a chance to win the game at the end of regulation, but Terry Roberts' fallaway three-pointer at the buzzer rimmed out.
"This is a big win against a Missouri Valley Conference team because our two leagues are very similar," Head Coach
Tod Kowalczyk said. "We rebounded the ball well against a good rebounding team and I thought our defense was really good holding a team like that to 65 points. We have a tough, resilient group and our togetherness really helps win games like this."
