TOLEDO, Ohio – University of Toledo women's swimming and diving team has added two student-athletes to its 2022-23 recruiting class, head coach
Brie Globig announced Monday.
Toledo's recruiting class includes Katharina Lohner and Alexis Schrecongost.

Katharina Lohner | Rochester Hills, MI | Rochester Adams High School
About Katharina:
- Is the younger sister of Toledo junior freestyler Lisa Lohner.
- Three-year varsity swimmer at Rochester Adams High School.
Why Katharina chose Toledo: "I chose to attend the University of Toledo because of the great campus atmosphere as well as the team atmosphere and togetherness of the swim team. The campus and the people made it feel like home and a place I would want to spend my next four years at, pursuing my swimming and academic career."

Alexis Schrecongost | Sarver, PA | Freeport Area High School
About Alexis:
- Is a Challenge Program Winner, part of the National Society of High School Scholars, and recipient of the Athletic Scholar award.
- WPIAL champion in the 100 breaststroke, swim team captain, and state finalist.
- Competed in Sectionals and Futures for her club team.
Why Alexis chose Toledo: "When I did my official visit at Toledo, the girls made me feel like I was at home. I was able to act like myself around the girls and coaches. Also, the campus was gorgeous and everything about it I really enjoyed."
