MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – The University of Toledo diving team ended the first day of the West Virginia Diving Invitational. Sophomore
Madison Giglio and senior
Joelle Gallais finished in the top-eight for the women's three-meter dive.
Sophomore
Madison Giglio finished fourth with a 248.05 final mark. Senior
Joelle Gallais marked a 237.05, for a sixth-place finish.
In the preliminary rounds, sophomore
Ryli Harden took ninth with a 215.60mark, while freshman
Kassie Gutierrez finished 14th with a 198.00 mark. In the finals, Gutierrez finished 10th overall and Harden finished 14th.
In attendance with Toledo at the three-day invitational are Colgate, Old Dominion, St. Bonaventure, Villanova and William & Mary and Bowling Green (diving).
The one-meter diving preliminaries begin at 12:30 p.m. and the finals begin at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 19.
