Toledo Travels to West Virginia to Face Marshall on Saturday

TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's swimming and diving team travels to Marshall on Saturday, Nov. 13 for its final non-conference meet of the season.

Meet time is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+ in the Frederick A. Fitch Natatorium. Toledo holds the all-time dual record over Marshall, 4-1-0, and won the last meeting on Nov. 8, 2019 (180-100).

Last Time Out
Toledo (0-3, 0-2 MAC) was defeated in its home opener by Ball State last Saturday, 172-128. The Rockets won eight events and had nine other top-three finishes. The Rockets' 400 medley relay and 200 freestyle relays won their events, sophomore Sydney Conrad claimed both the 100 and 200 butterfly events, junior Lauren Kilgore won the 200 IM, junior Kennedy Lovell took first in the 100 freestyle, and sophomore Madison Giglio reigned the one- and three-meter dives.

Madison Giglio, Ryli Harden, Kassie Gutierrez, Lucie Morris, and Molly Pressler recorded personal bests against Ball State. Giglio registered her bests in the one-meter (248.40) and three-meter (261.08), Harden in the one-meter (229.28), Gutierrez in the three-meter (220.95), Morris in the 50 free (24.33), and Pressler in the 200 free (1:55.56).

About Marshall
Marshall (0-1) is coming off a season-opening loss to Liberty, 216-137, on Oct. 22-23.  The Herd won two events and had two runner-up finishes. Freshman Gabrielle Ivy currently holds the C-USA's best time in the 200 backstroke (2:00.81) and ranks sixth in C-USA in the 100 freestyle (52.41).
