Rhyen Neal Named MAC West Defensive Player of the Week

TOLEDO, Ohio – University of Toledo senior defensive specialist/libero Rhyen Neal has been named MAC West Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
As Toledo's libero in both matches this past weekend, senior Rhyen Neal averaged 6.25 digs/set against Miami and Bowling Green. She posted 20 digs on Friday against the RedHawks, then set a new career high with 30 digs in Saturday's match against BGSU. Neal is averaging 5.27 digs/set over the last two weekends for the Rockets.
Neal now has 1,310 career digs, which ranks fifth all-time in school history.
Toledo hosts Eastern Michigan this weekend for a pair of matches at Savage Arena.
