TULSA, Okla. – The University of Toledo men's tennis team's trip to ITA All-American Championships came to a close on Sunday.

Juniors Pawit Sornlaksup and  Krzysztof Wetoszka both won their matches in the pre-qualifying consolation draw.
"We will see good benefit from today," head coach Al Wermer said. "You never know what you're going to get in consolation matches, but I think at this level the players are all competing, fighting to improve, and battling for their team positions. So, again, overall this event will help us."
Sornlaksup battled Texas Tech's Demetris Azoides in his consolation bracket match and won, 7-5, 6-4. Wetoszka also won his match on Sunday, defeating Meg Siritaworachan from Oral Roberts 6-4, 7-5.
Marko Galic and Adam Kovac also played on Sunday, with Galic falling to Nebraska's Dario Huber (6-4, 6-4) and Kovac falling to Davis Lawley of Omaha (3-6, 7-6 (4), 6-4).
Toledo hosts its Alumni Day next Saturday, Oct. 9 and will return to competition the following weekend at the Louisville Invitational on Oct. 15-17.
