TOLEDO, Ohio - University of Toledo redshirt freshman wide receiver
Jerjuan Newton was voted "Ironman of the Game" for his performance in last Saturday's victory against Central Michigan.
Newton caught three passes for 68 yards on Saturday, including a game-winning 28-yard TD grab from
Carter Bradley to give the Rockets a 24-23 win over the Chippewas. With his team trailing 23-17 in the final minutes of the fourth quarter, Newton made an outstanding touchdown catch that proved to be the difference.
