When did you first start swimming?
I started swimming when I was seven years old.
 
What is your favorite thing about being a swimmer?
I love all the friends I have made here. It really feels like we are one big family, and  I am appreciative of the lifelong friendships I've made. I also really love the challenge and pushing myself to get better every day. 
 
Why did you decide to come to the University of Toledo?
I came to Toledo because of their nursing program and the girls on my recruiting trip were so welcoming and nice. I knew this was the place I was meant to be. This was also the only school that would let me pursue nursing while swimming. 
 
What is your favorite spot on campus?
My favorite spot is the bell tower or the fountain at the student union. 
 
What is your major and why did you choose it?
I recently just graduated from nursing school and I have a minor is counseling. I chose nursing because I hope to help people through their hard times and give them hope during their stay in the hospital.
 
What is the most interesting class you've taken at Toledo?
My precepting class was the most interesting because I got to work alongside a nurse for her 12-hour shifts in an inpatient rehab center. 
 
What do you want to do after graduation?
I hope to get a job in Columbus as an ER nurse. I eventually want to become a travel nurse to explore new places! 
 
Excluding swimming and diving, what is your favorite sport to watch?
Football 
 
What is your dream vacation spot?
Australia, Greece, and Fiji
 
Do you have a nickname? If so, how did you get it?
Al, short for Ally. Or Bubbles. My dad gave this to me when I was younger while swimming
 
What is your favorite restaurant in Toledo?
Stubborn Brother, El Vaquero, and QQ Kitchen 
 
What is the best concert you've ever been to?
Kenneth Chesney with Old Dominion 
 
What are your three most used apps on your phone?
Snapchat, Instagram, and Tik tok
