EVANSTON, Ill. – The Toledo swimming and diving team continued to rewrite the Toledo record books, adding four new times to the All-Time Top-10 performance list. The Rockets also recorded 12 individual season-best and 15 career-best times. Toledo remains in second place overall with 444 points, sitting behind host Northwestern.

"We accomplished multiple milestone times tonight," said interim head coach Brie Globig. "I am looking forward to the final day of the invite tomorrow to see what else we have left. Joelle Gallais had a strong performance on the platform tonight, placing second overall."

Freshman Lauren Kilgore continued her success in the lanes for the Rockets, clocking the sixth-fastest time in program history in the 100 butterfly during the preliminary round. Kilgore touched the wall in 55.09 to secure a spot in the final round, where she placed fifth. Kilgore's time of 1:03.92 in the preliminary round of the 100 breaststroke was just .02 seconds from cracking the Toledo Top-10. Kilgore was a member of the third-place 800 free relay team. Izzy Jones, Kilgore, Lisa Eriksson, and Kennedy Lovell touched the wall in 7:28.43, two seconds ahead of the next fastest team from Northwestern.

Junior Izzy Jones led the way for the Rockets in the 100 backstroke, touching the wall in 54.37 for sixth place. Jones' time remains the second-fastest time in program history in the event. Not far behind in the finals were redshirt-freshman Kennedy Lovell and sophomore Ashley Jeffreys who took eighth and ninth, respectively. Lovell's time of 56.51 in the preliminary round of the event was the ninth-fastest time in program history. Lovell also clocked the sixth-fastest time in program history in the 200 freestyle, touching the wall in 1:49.68 for third place.

Sophomore Joelle Gallais had an outstanding performance in the diving well, taking second place on the platform. Gallais scored a season-best 197.10.
