ÂTOLEDO, Ohio – Five incoming student-athletes signed national letters of intent to play for the Toledo women's soccer team, head coach
TJ Buchholz announced Wednesday.
"We are very excited about signing the 2020 recruiting class," said Buchholz. "We had a large 2019 freshman group, and this 2020 class helps us fill in the gaps from last year's class. All of these players have had a lot of individual success during their prep careers and we are looking forward to seeing the strong impact they will make as Rockets over the next four years. I would also like to thank Assistant Coach
Jessica Nei for her tremendous work in helping to land this great recruiting class. Recruiting is hard work, and Coach Nei does a fantastic job of identifying the right academic and athletic fits for our team."Â

"Rachel is a person that will helps us fill that graduation void. She is one of the more athletic centerbacks we saw in our region when we recruited her. She also has developed her technical game over the past two seasons and that will aid her athleticism significantly at the college level.
