Diontae Johnson Named MAC West Offensive Player of the Week

Toledo, Ohio— University of Toledo wide receiver Diontae Johnson (Ruskin, Fla.) was the Mid-American Conference West Division Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Toledo's 49-24 loss to No. 21 Miami on Sept. 15.

Johnson caught six passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns against the Hurricanes. His scoring catches went for 7 and 40 yards. It was his seventh 100-yard receiving game of his career and the fifth time he has caught multiple touchdowns in a game. He also returned one kickoff for 40 yards.
