Toledo, Ohio - The University of Toledo will host an on-campus pep rally this Thursday ahead of Saturday's home game against the No. 21 Miami Hurricanes (Noon/ESPN2). Thursday's rally is set to begin at 12:30 p.m. at Centennial Mall.
 
The rally runs in conjunction with President Gaber's Backyard BBQ, an outdoor bash taking place in Centennial Mall. Food from Barry's Bagels, Fuzzy's Taco Shop, Potbelly, Tony Packo's and City BBQ will be available, along with inflatables. Additionally, the University will be giving away free tumblers and t-shirts.
 
In addition to Thursday's on-campus rally, the University of Toledo Rocket Marching Band is once again marching throughout the downtown Toledo entertainment district the night before game day. The Friday night rally continues a tradition in which the Rocket Marching Band performs at various establishments, marching through the downtown streets between each performance.
