Toledo will play the Oregon Ducks for the first time in program history on Thursday.
Toledo Finishes Spring Break Trip at the Oregon Invitational

TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo softball team concludes its spring break trip with five games in the Oregon Invitational on March 8-10 in Eugene, Ore. The Rockets take on No. 6 Oregon (5:30 p.m.) on Thursdday before playing Weber State (12:30 p.m.) and Montana (3:00 p.m.) on Friday. UT wraps up the weekend with contest against Bryant (9:30 a.m.) and Montana (2:30 p.m.) on Saturday. All times listed are pacific time and all games will be played at Oregon's Jane Sanders Stadium.
Toledo (10-9)
The Rockets were off to a historically good start to the season, but a four-game skid has Toledo at 10-9 overall. UT was on the wrong side of a pair of walk-off home runs by Seattle and Portland State in its midweek doubleheaders.Â
Offensively, Toledo is led by freshmen Bailey Curry and Kylie Norwood. The duo is each hitting .344 on the year with 21 hits and 22 hits, respectively. Curry leads the squad with four home runs and 14 RBIs, while Norwood has scored a team-best dozen runs this season.
Toledo is 2-6 all-time against Oregon, dropped its only contest against Montana and has never played Weber State or Bryant in program history.
No. 6 Oregon (18-4)
The Ducks saw their eight-game winning streak snapped by No. 13 Florida State in their last contest. In fact, all four of Oregon's losses have come to teams ranked in the top 15 (No. 15 Ole Miss, No. 6 Texas A&M, No. 11 Tennessee). The Oregon Invitational serves as the Ducks first home games of the season.
 Alexis Mack and Jenna Lilley have both recorded 30 hits on the year which ranks in the top 20 nationally. Gwen Svekis leads the Ducks power numbers with eight home runs and a .717 slugging percentage. In the circle, Miranda Elish holds an 8-0 record with the second-best ERA in the country (0.14). In 51.0 innings, Elish has allowed just one run on 24 hits.
Weber State (9-11)
The Wildcats enter the invitational two games under .500, but have won three of their last four games. Earlier in the season, Weber State played No. 1 Oklahoma, led 3-2 in the middle innings before falling 6-3.
WSU is led offensively by Takesha Saltern and Ashlyn Visser. Saltern is 26-for-73 for a team-best .356 average, while Visser has homered seven times and driven in 24 runs, both team highs.
Montana (5-14)
The Grizzlies dropped 10 of their first 11 games to start the season, but have played .500 softball since their slow start to reach their record of 5-14. Montana also played the top-ranked Sooners and fell 4-0 during the opening weekend. The Griz also challenged No. 11 Arizona and came up one run short of the upset, losing 2-1. Montana is coming off of a 16-3 win in which it knocked out 19 hits in five innings of play.
Montana is led in most offensive statistical categories by Delene Colburn. Colburn tops the UM charts in average (.385), home runs (4), RBIs (14), walks (17) and is second on the team with 21 hits and 12 runs scored.
Bryant (4-5)
The Bulldogs make their way to Oregon from Smithfield, Rhode Island. In Bryant's five losses it has been outscored by 8.6 runs per game. Three of those losses have come via the run rule. The Bulldogs have recorded a pair of wins over South Florida, a win over Fordham and their first win of the season against Louisiana-Monroe.
In the circle, Logan Paul boasts a 3-0 record with a 1.75 ERA in 16.0 innings. Paul has allowed four earned runs on 15 hits in her five appearances.
