MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Toledo (4-2) will look to win its third-consecutive road game at American Athletic Conference (AAC) member Memphis (2-4) on Saturday, Dec. 1. The contest will tip off at 11:00 a.m. (CT) in the Elma Roane Fieldhouse.
The Rockets are 2-2 away from the friendly confines of Savage Arena this year and 98-76 over the last 10-plus seasons under Head Coach

UT is coming off an impressive 78-69 victory at Ohio Valley Conference power Belmont (4-2) on Thursday in the Curb Event Center. The Rockets outscored the Bruins 33-24 in the fourth quarter to run their record to 9-0 all-time against OVC schools.

Mariella Santucci sparked the strong final period pouring in 16 of her career-high 22 points to surpass the 20-point barrier for a second-consecutive game.

As a team, the Rockets shot 44.4 percent (24-of-54) from the floor, including an impressive 40.0 percent (8-of-20) from three-point land, and a season-best 78.6 percent (22-of-28) from the free throw line.
UT also won the battle on the boards, 40-31 and had a decisive 20-9 edge in points off turnovers.
Toledo is fueled offensively by the quartet of McIntyre, Santucci, Rokkanen and Boyd, who are averaging 14.3, 12.8, 8.5 and 8.3 ppg, respectively.
The Rockets will battle a Memphis squad that split two games at the Coastal Carolina Tournament on Nov. 23-25, most recently dropping a 90-71 decision against the host Chanticleers.
Four Tigers scored in double-figures, led by Gazmyne Herndon's 19 points, six assists and two blocks, followed by Kiana Coomber and Taylor Barnes with 14 points each.
Memphis feature an attack with three players averaging at least 10.5 points per game led by Alana Davis and Jamirah Shutes' 13.3 ppg. Davis also pulls down a team-high 9.5 rebounds. The Tigers are 1-1 at home this season.
The two teams will meet for the second time on the hardwood. Toledo overcame a 12-point halftime deficit and claimed a 71-68 overtime victory against Memphis in the FedEx Forum on Jan. 4, 2008.
Allie Clifton led UT with a career-high 24 points, including 20 at the intermission. Olivia Terry was the only other Rocket in double figures with 13 points, but the Midnight Blue and Gold received solid contributions from several others to post the come-from-behind triumph. Lisa Johnson had nine points and a career-high 18 rebounds, while Nacole Stocks tallied eight points, seven assists and seven boards.

The last AAC squad the Rockets battled was Cincinnati in the second round of the 2012 Postseason WNIT, whom they defeated, 72-51, in Savage Arena (March 19).
Following tomorrow's match-up at Memphis, Toledo will wrap up its five-game road swing at Cleveland State on Wednesday, Dec. 5. The opening tip is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. in the Wolstein Center.
UT and CSU will square off for the fifth straight year and 27th time in the overall series. The Rockets have won the last three match-ups against their interstate opponent and lead the all-time series, 17-9, including a 65-56 home victory on Dec. 9, 2017.
