As a team, the Rockets shot a sizzling 56.3 percent (36-of-64) from the field, including 40.9 percent (9-of-20) from three-point land, and 75.0 percent (3-of-4) from the charity stripe to improve to 12-0 all-time against teams from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
The Midnight Blue & Gold, which did not trail at any point against the Gaels, also dished out a flashy 27 assists, compared to 12 turnovers, and had 10 steals.
Toledo is fueled offensively by McIntyre, Rokkanen, sophomore
Tanaya Beacham and Boyd, who are averaging 20.0 ppg, 8.5 ppg, 7.5 ppg and 7.5 ppg, respectively. McIntyre is the only Rocket to score in double figures in both games this season.
UT will face a Duquesne squad that is coming off a 73-64 home triumph over Mount St. Mary's on Monday. 2017-18 A-10 first-team all-conference selection Chassidy Omogrosso and Laia Sole led the way for the Dukes with 14 points each, followed closely by Nina Aho with 10.Â
The Dukes feature an offense with three players scoring at least 8.0 points led by Sole's 9.0 ppg, 6.0 rpg and 1.7 bpg. They are 0-2 away from home this season.
UT and DU will square off for the second-straight season and sixth time overall. The Rockets lead the all-time series, 3-2, most recently suffering a 73-54 loss on Dec. 6, 2017 in the AJ Palumbo Center.
Toledo has won the only two meetings against Duquesne at home, claiming an 87-53 triumph on Dec. 2, 2000 and an 81-57 win on Nov. 25, 2003.Â
Following Sunday's match-up against the Dukes, Toledo will travel to Atlantic 10 member Dayton (1-1) on Wednesday, Nov. 21. The opening tip against the Flyers is slated for 7:00 p.m. in UD Arena and will be shown on ESPN+.
UT and UD will compete for the 10th-straight year and 25th time overall. Dayton leads the all-time series, 13-11, but the Rockets have won the last two match-ups against their interstate foe. The Flyers also hold a slim 6-5 edge in games played vs. Toledo in UD Arena.
A season ago, Toledo registered an impressive 68-50 victory in Savage Arena (Nov. 22).
Two years ago, UT claimed a 76-72 triumph at Dayton before 9,002 screaming fans in UD Arena to snap a four-game losing skid in the series (Dec. 9).
