Athens, OH – Toledo dropped its final dual meet of the season to Ohio, 188-71, on Saturday afternoon in the Bobcats' Aquatic Pavilion.

"We need to look ahead and keep preparing for the MAC Championships," said head coach Jonas Persson. "We're excited to see what's in store when we head down to Oxford in a few weeks."

Senior Rachael Hester swam to a season-best time and second-place finish of 10:38.48 in the 1,000 free, while sophomore Bailey Cahill finish second in the 100 fly at 57.84, the best UT dual meet time of the season.

Junior Jess Avery touched second in the 200 breast with a time of 2:29.79, while junior Brittany Puthoff followed in third at 2:30.05.

Junior Maggie Hack finished second in the 500 free, stopping the clock at 5:14.90, and junior Allie Brinkhoff touched second in the 200 IM at 2:14.66.

The Rockets closed out the meet with a second-place finish in the 200 free relay (1:38.14). Junior Allison Dicke recorded the second-fastest split time of 24.17.

The Midnight Blue and Gold will head to Oxford, OH for the Mid-American Conference Championships on Wednesday-Saturday, Feb. 22-25.
