Toledo Tied for 16th Place Following Opening Round at Golfweek Conference Challenge

WOLCOTT, CO – Toledo is tied for 16th place following Monday's first round of the Golfweek Conference Challenge with a team score of 34-over par 322. The tournament is being held at the par-72, 6,261-yard Red Sky Golf Club.
Defending champion San Diego State leads the 18-team field with a one-under par 287 and has four players appearing in the individual Top 20. Pepperdine is four strokes back at three-over par 291 with Tennessee in third place at five-over par 293.
Leading the Rockets are sophomores Pinyada Kuvanun and Pimchanok Kawil, who are tied for 39th and 48th place, respectively. Kuvanun carded a four-over par 76, while Kawil is just one stroke behind at five-over par 77.
Rounding out UT's lineup are junior Napaphan Phongpaiboon (T-82nd/84), sophomore Natcha Daengpiem (T-86th/85) and sophomore Hannah Kochendoerfer (89th/89).
