Toledo Finishes 34th in Pre-National Blue 8k

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Maja Pacaric and Joan Jepkirui finished 123rd and 136th, respectively, to lead the Toledo women's cross country team to a 34th place finish in the Pre-National Blue 6k at LaVern Gibson XC Course.Â
Pacaric crossed the line in 21:39.3 while Jepkirui finished the course in 21:46.8.
Caroline Lambert was the third Rocket to finish, crossing the line in 156th place in a time of 21:52.6.
Athena Welsh ran to a 183rd place finish and Jennifer Lichter placed 196th to round out the scoring for the Midnight Blue and Gold.
Stephanie Barlow and Petronela Simiuc also represented the Rockets in the 42-team, 285-runner event.
The cross country teams finish their regular season schedules at the Eastern Michigan Fall Classic on Friday, Oct. 21.Â
