“That's something that as coaches you have to address. We made a great effort to get our team to refocus and get ready for Northern. However, that was the kind of win where guys got patted on the back all week long. A full week of getting patted on the back is not what you want as a football team. That doesn't get you tough and mentally ready to play.”

 

“Northern was mentally sharp, they were focused and they executed well. They played good hard-nosed football. I give them credit for what happened today.”

“We had some penalties that affected our drives. We have to have better focus and work harder in practice.”
