Toledo's 4-0 start in MAC play is its best start since the 2000-01 season when it finished with a 12-6 ledger.
The Rockets extended their MAC win streak dating back to last year to 11 games, three shy of the longest conference win streak in school history. (The Rockets' school record is 14 from Jan. 26, 2000 - Jan. 13, 2001).
Toledo also extended its conference road win streak to five games for its longest MAC road win streak since winning five from Feb. 19, 2001 - Jan. 9, 2002.
UT has now won its last four meetings vs. EMU and leads the all-time series by a 41-36 margin. The Rockets also now possess a 7-2 ledger in the nine-year history of EMU's Convocation Center.
Toledo limited EMU to 20.0 percent (4-of-20) shooting from three-point range and has held its first four MAC opponents to 23.9 percent (21-of-88) shooting from behind the arc.
Senior forward Keonta Howell tied his career high with five three-point field goals en route to his sixth 20-point outing of the season. Howell has led the Rockets in scoring a team-high seven times this year.
