The Rockets swept the season series vs. the Eagles for the first time in three years and now lead the all-time series by a 40-36 margin.

Junior guard Justin Ingram equalled his career high and sank a career-high 11 free throws in 11 attempts.
Senior guard Sammy Villegas moved into second place on UT's all-time three-point field goal list with four treys. He now has 231 in his career to move past Chad Kamstra (229 in 1996-2000). Villegas' 14-point effort was his first game in double figures since scoring 15 vs. East Carolina on Dec. 21, 2005. He also moved into 26th place on UT's all-time scoring list with 1,143 points.
Sophomore center Haris Charalambous scored a career-high five points.
Junior forward Florentino Valencia saw his five-game streak of scoring in double figures end with eight points.
