Team Notes:

* The Rockets now lead the all-time series vs. Detroit by a 29-22 margin but have lost their last four contests at Calihan Hall.

* Toledo lost just its second game this year in 12 contests this year when outshooting its opponent. The Rockets are also now 10-2 when shooting 45 percent or better and also 10-2 when holding its opponent under 45 percent shooting.

* UT tied its season high with six blocked shots but also tied its season low with two steals.

* The Rockets are now 6-2 this season when four or more players score in double figures.

* Toledo's 12 turnovers equalled its second lowest total in a game this season.

* Detroit's 13 turnovers were just the second fewest by a Rocket opponent this season.

Player Notes:

* Junior guard Keonta Howell led the Rockets with 17 points and tied his career high with two blocked shots.

* Junior guard Justin Ingram tied his season high with 38 minutes played and also tied his career high with two blocked shots.

* Freshman guard Jonathan Amos registered season highs with 11 points and seven rebounds in a season-high 28 minutes.

* Junior forward Florentino Valencia scored in double figures for the fifth straight game with 11 points and raised his season FG% to a MAC-best 65.0% on 5-of-7 shooting.

* Sophomore forward Jerrah Young grabbed a season-high five offensive rebounds.
