* The Rockets played their first overtime contest since March 5, 2005, a 78-70 (2OT) win over Eastern Michigan. UT has won its last three overtime games and is 9-7 in overtime contests under Head Coach Stan Joplin.
* Toledo's 13 three-point field goals tied for fifth most in a game in school history. The Rockets' 31 three-point attempts tied for third most.
* UT outrebounded MTSU by a 28-24 margin to mark the first time it has held the upper hand in rebounding in a game this season.
* Toledo has forced 18 or more turnovers in each of its first three games.
* Senior guard Justin Ingram registered career highs for points (32), three-point field goals (6) and minutes played (41). He also scored in double figures for a career-high 13 straight games and moved into 32nd place on the Rockets' all-time scoring list with 1,100 points.
* Senior forward Keonta Howell played a career-best 41 minutes and tied his career high for three-point field goals in a game with five.
* Sophomore guard Tyrone Kent grabbed a career-high six rebounds while playing a career-best 33 minutes.
