Kent, OH -
Head Coach Tom Amstutz- "Obviously if you give up a turn over for a touchdown, a couple of other interceptions, make a nice catch then fumble the ball, that's a huge in these kind of football games. We have to take better care of the football and get our rhythm."
"We are working hard and doing everything we can on the practice field. It's a team I really like. We're just not getting good breaks. We have to go out and make breaks for ourselves. This is a group of players I've enjoyed coaching as much as any team I've ever coached. I don't understand all the things that have happened to this team. The only thing we can do is keep on working through it, keep together and keep believing each other."
"I give Kent State a lot of credit. They are working hard, they've have got things on a roll and they believe in each other. They've got a lot of momentum going right now."
DL Sean Williamson- "We had some missed tackles and things just weren't going our way. They had a good running schem form the get-go and they executed it very well."
QB Aaron Opelt- "Our offense never got the momentum we needed. That's what we were looking for for the whole game and we could never find it."
