• The Rockets are now 6-0 this year when shooting 45 percent or better from the field and 3-1 in games decided by three points or less.

• Toledo leads its all-time series with Northern Illinois by a 34-16 margin and has won five of its last six meetings with the Huskies.

• UT has emerged victorious in its last three trips to NIU's Convocation Center.

• Head Coach Stan Joplin moved into eighth place with on the MAC's all-time conference victory list with 93. He passed WMU's Bob Donewald (1990-2000) and needs two wins to tie CMU's Dick Parfitt (1973-85) at 95.

• The Rockets' 65.0 three-point field-goal percentage and 13 three-point field goals were season highs. UT's 13 treys tied for the second most ever a Rocket squad in a MAC game.

• Toledo registered eight steals in the contest and is averaging 11.7 spg in its last three contests.

• The Rockets shot a season-high 88.9 percent from the free-throw line.

• Sophomore guard Kashif Payne registered career highs with 19 points, four steals and four three-point field goals. He also tallied six assists for his most helpers since recording a career-high 11 vs. St. Bonaventure.

• Senior guard Justin Ingram tied his career high with five three-point field goals and has scored in double figures in all but one game this season.

• Freshman guard Jonathan Amos tied his season high with 10 points and played a season-high 22 minutes.

• Junior guard Keonta Howell scored in double figures for the ninth time this season with 11 points and played a career-high 32 minutes.
