* With its win Toledo captured a share of the MAC West Division title for the third time under Head Coach Stan Joplin. UT previously won the division title in 1998-99 and shared it in 1999-2000.

* Head Coach Stan Joplin improved his reord to 153-111 to move into an eighth-place tie on the MAC's all-time win percentage list at .580. Joplin is in ninth place on the conference's all-time win list (153 wins) and in 10th place on the MAC's conference win list (91 wins).

* Toledo now leads the all-time series vs. EMU by a 38-36 margin and Head Coach Stan Joplin evened his record at 10-10 vs. the Eagles.

* UT is now 8-7 in overtime games under Head Coach Stan Joplin and 4-0 in double overtime contests. It was the first double OT game for UT since the 2000-01 campaign. The last time the Rockets played back-to-back OT games was the last two games of the 1999-2000 season in the MAC Tournament.

* Toledo has won every 'Senior Day' under Head Coach Stan Joplin and it was the first time it went into overtime.

* The Rockets had five players score in double figures for a second straight game. UT is now 7-1 this season when four or more players score in double figures.

* Senior guard Keith Triplett led the Rockets with 19 points and also registered a game-high five assists and a season-high 11 free throws.

* Sophomore guard Justin Ingram grabbed a career-high eight rebounds and has scored in double figures in 10 of his last 11 games.

* Junior guard Sammy Villegas equalled his season high with three steals.

* Sophomore forward Florentino Valencia scored 11 points and played a career-high 38 minutes. He is averaging 11.6 ppg with a 64.7 FG% (33-of-51) in his last seven games.
