* Toledo lost for just the second time in its last 15 Savage Hall meetings vs. Northern Illinois. The defeat also snapped a four-game UT winning streak vs. the Huskies.

* Head Coach Stan Joplin's record is now 12-6 vs. Northern Illinois and his record in MAC openers fell to 6-4. UT is now 4-2 when opening its MAC season at home under Joplin.

* The Rockets are now 97-25 (.795) under Head Coach Stan Joplin at Savage Hall.

* Northern Illinois snapped a 10-game MAC road losing streak with tonight's victory and Head Coach Rob Judson improved his record to 4-5 vs. Toledo.

* Toledo connected on a season-high 11 three-point field goals with Justin Ingram and Sammy Villegas each knocked down four treys.

* The Rockets and Huskies both grabbed 27 rebounds marking the first time UT was not outrebounded by its opponent for the first time this season.

* UT's reserves have outscored its opposition in three straight games.

* Toledo committed a season-low 12 turnovers in the contest with NIU's 12 turnovers being the lowest by an opponent this season.

* Junior guard Justin Ingram registered his second 20-point outing of the season by scoring all 21 points in the second half. He is the only Rocket to score in double figures in every game this season and leads the team with 16.0 ppg.

* Junior guard Keonta Howell grabbed a career-high eight rebounds and leads the Rockets with 5.8 boards per game.

* Freshman guard Tyrone Kent scored a season-high nine points while playing a season-high 19 minutes.
