* The Rockets evened their all-time series with East Carolina at 2-2 and also improved their record vs. Conference USA schools to 2-0.

* UT has now its last 15 non-conference games at Savage Hall and possesses a 40-3 (.930) win-loss mark in non-conference home games under Head Coach Stan Joplin. The Rockets also hold a MAC-best 27-3 (.900) record at home since the start of the 2003-04 campaign with its only setbacks coming to Eastern Michigan in 2003-04, Miami in 2004-05 and Northern Illinois this year.

* Toledo now has a 100-25 (.800) win-loss mark at Savage Hall in 10 years under Head Coach Stan Joplin.

Player Notes

* Sophomore guard Kashif Payne scored a career-high 18 points while registering a career-best eight free throws and four steals.

* Junior guard Justin Ingram was held out of double figures for the first time this season and finished with six points.

* Payne and Ingram combined to go a perfect 14-of-14 from the free-throw line. Payne was 8-of-8 and has made 18 free throws in a row, while Ingram was 6-of-6 and has made 25 consecutive attempts from the charity stripe. Ingram leads the team with a 92.1 FT% with Payne possessing an 84.8 FT%.

* Junior forward Anton Currie equalled his career high with eight rebounds, all of which came in the first half.

* Senior guard Sammy Villegas matched his season high with 15 points.
