(opening comments)

"St. Bonaventure has really improved after winning only two games last year. After seeing them on tape we were very concerned. I thought we played pretty well on defense and Kashif Payne really had a good game with 11 assists and that's the way he played last season. Allen Pinson also came up big for us and when he plays like that it gives us a lot more depth. I liked the way we played tonight and that's the type of team that I like to see. We're going to try to strive to do that every game."

(on the team's energy level)

"We didn't think we were getting enough easy baskets in transition and we wanted Kashif in an attack mode like he was tonight. I think that really helped and we might have wore them down with our numbers."

(on the play of the team's bench)

"We don't really have starters because we have three or four guys that come off the bench that could start. When we go to the bench it's a shot in the arm. We don't lose much like we have in past years."
