* Toledo scored a season-high 90 points in their win as well as registering a season-high 39 rebounds.
* The Rockets notched 13 steals and has 10 or more steals in four straight games and is now averaging 10.0 steals per game this season.
* UT forced the Lakers into 22 turnovers and its opponents have averaged 25 miscues in the last three games.
* The Rockets improved their home record to 2-0 and have won 14 of their last 15 contests at Savage Hall. UT is also 86-23 (.789) at home under Head Coach Stan Joplin including 34-3 (.919) in non-conference games.
* Head Coach Stan Joplin is now one win shy of tying Harold Anderson (1934-42) for second place on the Rockets' all-time coaching win list. Joplin has a 141-104 (.576) ledger in nine seasons on the Rocket bench and ranks 10th in MAC history among coaches who have spent five or more seasons in the league.
* Senior guard Keith Triplett surpassed the 1,500-career point mark and moved into seventh place on the Rockets' all-time scoring list ahead of Harvey Knuckles (1977-81 - 1,488 pts.). * In addition to scoring a career-high 25 points, sophomore center Allen Pinson also set career highs for field goals (8) and free throws (8).
* Sophomore guard Keonta Howell tallied 13 points to mark his fourth double-digit scoring effort of the season. He also grabbed a career-high three steals.
* Sophomore guard Justin Ingram grabbed a team-high four steals and has three or more steals in four straight games. Ingram is now averaging 2.33 spg and trails only Keith Triplett (3.22 spg).
* Senior forward Kareem Milson tallied season highs in both points (6) and rebounds (6).
* Sophomore forward Florentino Valencia did not play due to a sprained ankle but will return to action for Sunday's MAC opener at Eastern Michigan.
