- With the victory Toledo wins a share of the MAC West title with Northern Illinois and its third trip to the MAC Championship Game in four years, fifth in eight years. Toledo will face Miami, East Division champs, at Ford Field in Detroit on Dec. 2.
- The victory was Toledo's 13th straight at the Glass Bowl and the Rockets are now 30-1 in their last 31 games at home.
- The 20-point comeback marked the 11th time in Tom Amstutz's 4-year head coaching career at UT that his Rockets have rallied from deficits of 10 or more points. It was his second 20-point comeback. Toledo rallied from a 23-0 hole in a 41-36 win over Marshall in the 2001 MAC Championship Game.
- The comeback ranks as the fourth-biggest in school history. The biggest comeback was a 24-point turnaround in a 32-31 win over Western Carolina in 1975.
- Tonight's attendance of 31,981 was the seventh-largest in Glass Bowl history.
- In Toledo's last three home field victories over Bowling Green, the Rockets have outscored the Falcons 104-21 in the second half. In 2000, Toledo outscored BG 34-7 in a 51-17 win. In 2002 UT outscored BG 28-0 in a 42-24 win. Tonight the Rockets outscored their greatest rivals 42-14 in the final 30 minutes.
- Senior WR Lance Moore's 2 receiving TDs made him UT's all-time season and career receiving TD leader. He now has 11 TDs on the season and 22 for his career, both UT records. The previous makr for a season was 9 hled by three players and the previous mark for a career was 21 held by Mel Long, Jr. (1997-2000).
- Moore caught 10 passes for 153 yards, his 6th straight game of 100+ yards receiving.
- Toledo's 28-point third quarter was the third-most points scored in a quarter by the Rockets and tied the school mark against Division I-A teams. The record is 34 in the first quarter vs. Davis + Elkins in 1951.
- Bruce Gradkowski three for 338 yards, the seventh 300+ yard game of his career.
