* Toledo allowed a season-high 95 points along with opponent highs for field-goal percentage (52.9), three-point field-goal percentage (50.0) and free throws made (36) and attempted (44).
* The Rockets were outshot from the free-throw line for only the second time this season. UT shot 63.6 percent (7-of-11) and BSU shot 81.8 percent for the highest total by an opponent this season.
* UT's bench was outscored and outrebounded for only the second time this season. The Cardinals held a 22-12 edge in points and an 11-5 advantage in rebounds.
* The Rockets were outrebounded by a 40-27 margin including 20-9 in the second half and equaled a season low for rebounds in a game.
* Toledo equaled a season high with 21 turnovers including a season-high 15 in the first half. UT also committed a season-high 31 fouls.
Player Notes
* Senior guard Keith Triplett tallied a game-high 25 points to become the 34th Rocket to score 1,000 or more points in his career. It was his eighth 20-point outing of the season and lifted his scoring average to 19.8 points per game. He was 10-of-20 from the field and 4-of-11 from three-point range which were career highs for field goals attempted and three-point field goals attempted.
* Sophomore guard Sammy Villegas scored 14 points and is the only Rocket to score in double figures in every game this season. Villegas also extended his streak of making a three-point field goal to 38 straight games.
* Freshman guard Justin Ingram scored 14 points to go along with a season-high six assists and no turnovers. Ingram is leading the Rockets with a 1.60 assist/turnover ratio.
