Team Notes
* Toledo now holds a six-game advantage, 77-71, in its all-time series with the Falcons. The Rockets have won six of their last seven contests vs. Bowling Green.
* Head Coach Stan Joplin now has an 8-7 record vs. Bowling Green including an 8-4 mark in head-to-head matchups with BG Head Coach Dan Dakich.
* The Rockets shot at least 50 percent from the field for the second straight game. It is just the third time since its win over Michigan State on Dec. 30 that UT has shot 50 percent or better.
* Toledo registered 10 steals vs. the Falcons marking the ninth time in the last 11 games the Rockets have notched nine or more steals. UT is averaging 9.2 thefts per game over that span.
* Toledo set a school single-season record for most three-point field goals in conference play with 149 surpassing the 1999-2000 club's mark of 145. UT has 240 overall treys this year which is also a school record.
Individual Notes
* Junior guard Keith Triplett has scored 22 or more points in six of his last eight games and is averaging 22.5 ppg during that stretch. Triplett also grabbed four steals to set a school record for most steals in a MAC season with 48. Craig Thames held the previous mark with 46 in the 1995-96 campaign.
* Senior guard Nick Moore is now three treys away from tying Miami's Landon Hackin (277) for the MAC's career three-point field-goal record.
* Redshirt freshman guard Sammy Villegas connected for a three-point field goal and has failed to do so in just one game this season. Villegas is third on the MAC's all-time list for most three-point field goals by a freshman with 66, six behind all-time leader Brad Soucie of Eastern Michigan's total of 72 in the 1986-87 campaign.
* Freshman guard Chauncey Shelton scored a season-high eight points, including a pair of key free throws late in the game. Shelton also registered his first career blocked shot and added a steal in 11 minutes of action.
* Senior forward Milo Kirsh now has 68 blocked shots in his career for the fourth most ever by a Rocket.
