Head Coach Stan Joplin:

"I thought we got bullied and our players didn't respond. I thought we were outhustled, outcoached and outplayed. It was embarrassing. You have to give Western a lot of credit. They played well and shot the ball well. We dug ourselves a hole and it was a total breakdown in my mind."

"I didn't think Western did anything different tonight than our other games we played against them. I didn't think we came out aggressively. We were playing back on our heels. They shot 50 percent in the first half and missed 13 shots and got 10 offensive rebounds."

Senior guard Nick Moore:

"We just dug ourselves too big of a hole in the first half. Credit Western because they didn't let up at all and kept their defense up against us and made us take tough shots. When you get down 25 points in the first half that's tough to come back from."

"Their defense was pretty much the same as when we played them before. They were real aggressive last time too but we were able to knock down some shots a little bit earlier and when you do that it kind of relieves the pressure a little bit. We didn't make any shots early tonight and had some early turnovers and they fed off it and the crowd got loud and they just kept on rolling."

Senior forward Milo Kirsh:

"It felt like we ran into a buzzsaw tonight."

"They were in all the passing lanes and denying the wings and denying entry passes to every part of our offense. They just made it really difficult to get into our offense."
