Team Notes:
* The Rockets' 12 three-point field goals was their highest total since knocking down 13 treys in their 72-65 loss to the Huskies on Jan. 8. UT now has 221 three-point field goals this season and 130 in MAC play for the second most in a season in school history in both categories.
* UT was outrebounded by a 39-25 margin and their 14-rebound deficit was its most in a MAC contest this season.
*Toledo's 31 three-point field-goal attempts tied for the most attempts this year.
* The Rockets registered nine steals and have notched nine or more steals in seven of their last eight contests.
Player Notes:
* Keith Triplett's 29-point effort was the second best of his career and followed his 28-point effort on Tuesday at Buffalo. Triplett also grabbed a team-high six rebounds and equaled his career highs with five steals and five assists.
* Nick Moore scored 17 points to move into 13th place on the Rockets' all-time scoring list with 1,318 points ahead of Larry Jones (1960-64) at 1,315 points. Moore needs just 12 points to move into 10th place ahead of Jim Swaney (1976-80, 1,329 pts.), Jay Gast (1981-85, 1,328 pts) and Bob Gerber (1939-42, 1,319 pts). Moore also passed Chad Kamstra for most career three-point field goals in MAC play with 164.
Sammy Villegas was 3-for-10 from three-point range and moved into third place on the MAC's all-time list for most three-point field goals by a freshman in a season with 64. He trails only CMU's Ryan Jensen (69 in 1994-95) and EMU's Brad Soucie (72 in 1986-87).
