Team Notes:

* Toledo's victory over Bowling Green was its fifth over the Falcons in the two schools' last six meetings. The Rockets' win also was their fourth straight over BGSU at Savage Hall.

* Head Coach Stan Joplin evened his overall record vs. Bowling Green to 7-7. He is 7-4 in head-to-head meetings with BGSU Head Coach Dan Dakich.

* The Rockets forced the Falcons into a season-high 26 turnovers. It was also the most by a UT opponent this season.

* UT knocked down a season-high 22 free throws in 27 attempts for an 81.5 percentage.

* The Rockets registered 11 steals to mark the third straight game UT has notched 10 or more thefts in a game.

* Toledo's 40.9 three-point field goal-percentage was its best in a game since shooting 41.9 percent vs. Northern Illinois on Jan. 8.

Individual Notes:

* Junior guard Keith Triplett equaled career highs with five assists and five steals in addition to registering team highs in points (22) and rebounds (6) in 36 minutes of play.

* Redshirt freshman guard Sammy Villegas tallied 11 of his 16 points in the first five minutes of the second half and equaled his career high with three steals. He connected on four three-point field goals in seven attempts and is second all-time among Rocket freshman for treys in a season.

* Senior guard Nick Moore is now in 18th place on the Rockets' all-time scoring list with 1,253 points and needs 14 points to pass Dick Miller (1976-80) and move into 17th place.

* Junior forward Ricardo Thomas equaled his career high with six free throws en route to scoring 10 points. He is shooting 72.7 percent (8-of-11) from the field and 94.1 (16-of-17) percent from the charity stripe in three career games vs. the Falcons.

* Senior forward Milo Kirsh was ejected from the contest with 10:05 to play in the second half and charged with a flagrant foul for fighting.
