Individual Notes:
* Senior guard Keith Triplett tallied a season-high 22 points on nine-of-11 shooting to raise his field-goal percentage to a team-high 54.2 percent. Triplett has led UT in scoring in four of five games this year and in 12 of his last 15 contests.
* Sophomore guard Sammy Villegas scored a season-best 18 points and connected for a career-high seven field goals while dishing out a season-high five assists. Villegas leads the Rockets with 3.2 apg and has a 4.0 assist/turnover ratio.
* Freshman guard Justin Ingram tallied season highs in points (18), rebounds (6) and assists (6) and didn't miss a shot. He made all six of his shots from the field including four from three-point range and connected on both of his free-throw attempts.
* Freshman forward Florentino Valencia tallied nine points, four rebounds and a season-high three assists in a season-high 22 minutes. He made all three of his free-throw attempts and has connected on all 16 of his attempts from the charity stripe this season to lead the team.
* Freshman guard Rashay Russell knocked down both of his three-point field-goal attempts and is shooting 75.0 percent (3-of-4) from three-point range this season.
* Head Coach Stan Joplin moved into eighth place on the MAC's all-time winning percentage list with his 122-88 (.581) mark. He needs just four more victories to move ahead of Eddie Melvin (1954-65) and six more wins to push past Jerry Bush (1947-54) into third place on UT's all-time coaching win list.
Team Notes:
* The Rockets established season highs for points (95), field goals (35), field-goal percentage (64.8), three-point field goals made (12), three-point field-goal percentage (60.0), assists (23), rebounding margin (+13) and margin of victory (+24) in the win.
* Toledo's bench produced a season-high 33 points and has outscored and outrebounded its opposition's bench in every game this season.
* Toledo converted 81.3 percent (13-of-16) of its free-throw attempts and has outshot its opposition from the charity stripe in every game this season. The Rockets are shooting 77.9 percent from the line for the season.
* The Rockets have won their first four road games of a season for the first time since winning their first five road contests in the 1966-67 campaign. In that season, the Rockets finished with a 23-2 mark and captured their second MAC title.
* The last time the Rockets started a season with five straight wins was the 2000-01 campaign. In that season, UT opened with three straight wins at the Energia Systems Tournament in Kansas City, MO and two home wins en route to a 22-11 mark and a trip to the NIT.
* Toledo is now 3-0 vs. Siena and will host the Saints next year in the final season of a four-game contract.
