JONESBORO, AR - Toledo (3-7) was shut out for the first time this season as it dropped an 11-0 decision today at Arkansas State (6-12).
Freshman E.T. Ducey (0-1) took the loss after allowing three hits and three runs in three innings of work.
Indians' starter Robby Cuffia (2-1) gained the win after giving up just one hit over eight innings.
ASU scored three runs in the third, five in the fourth and three in the eighth. Leading the way for the Indians offensively were SS Brock Buckingham (2-for-4, 3 RBI, 2 runs) and LF Kyle Brunen (1-for-4, 3 RBI).
Toledo will continue its spring-break trip on Tuesday, Mar. 13 when it begins a two-game series at the University of Louisville.
