Swimming and Diving: Ed Goodman Named Diving Coach at Toledo

Toledo, OH - - Ed Goodman has been named diving coach for the University of Toledo swimming and diving team, Head Coach Brian Sharer announced today.
Goodman, a native of Toledo, competed at the University of Cincinnati, and served on the head coaching staff for Bowling Green State University's diving camp in 1999-2000. He will continue his duties as diving coach at Notre Dame Academy and Sylvania Northview High School.
Goodman replaces Leslie Hasselbach, who left to assume the head diving position at Clemson University last month. Coach Sharer feels that Goodman is a good fit for the program.
"Ed Goodman will definitely bring energy and success to our program," said Sharer. "He's really excited about coaching at the collegiate level."
