Stjepan Sisko is the only men’s tennis athlete in school history to be honored with first-team All-MAC honors in all four years of his career. Sisko was named MAC Player of the Year in 2014 and 2015, and shared MAC Player of the Year honors with Ball State’s Lucas Andersen in 2016. He was also named the 2014 MAC Newcomer of the Year. Sisko was named MAC Player of the Week a school-record 12 times in his career. A native of Croatia, Sisko played at No. 1 singles in every dual match in his four years at Toledo. His record in singles play was 75-22, 18-5 in MAC play during his four seasons as a Rocket. He went 15-8 as a freshman, 19-3 as a sophomore, 25-5 as a junior and 16-6 as a senior, adding an impressive 50-29 career doubles record to his resume. At one point in his career, Sisko won 13 consecutive singles matches. Sisko was named the Rockets’ MVP four times and earned the Team Leadership Award in his junior and senior seasons.
