Hall of Fame
Mimi Olson joins teammate Angela Drake in the class of 2004 to be inducted to the Hall of Fame. Olson and Drake formed a deadly one-two punch that dominated the Mid-American Conference from 1993-97. Olson debuted as the MAC Freshman of the Year in 1993-94, and went on to earn second-team All-MAC honors as a sophomore and first-team All-MAC honors in her junior and senior seasons. Olson ranks second on UT's career list in scoring with 2,144 points, and is among the leaders in three-point field goals, free throw percentage and steals. During Olson's four seasons at UT, the Rockets had a combined record of 100-25. In those four years, Toledo won two regular-season MAC titles, finished in second place twice, won three MAC Tournament titles and went to the NCAA Tournament three times. The high point in that glorious run came in Olson's junior season, when the Rockets defeated Mississippi, 65-53, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
