Mike Ducey lettered on the Rocket tennis teams of 1967- 1969. Those teams won MAC championships each season and in each of those seasons. As a sophomore in 1967 he was 16-3 at no. 2 singles and won the MAC title at that position. As a junior in 1968 he was 15-2 at no.2 singles and won the MAC championship. He was 12-1 at doubles and won the MAC title with fellow Hall of Famer Ken Swartz. As a senior Mike played no. 1 singles, went 17-5 and won the MAC championship. He also teamed with Ken Schwartz at No. 1 doubles to win still another MAC crown. For his career, Mike Ducey was 48-10 in singles competition and was 43-16 in doubles competition. Mike competed in the NCAA tournament as a Rocket.
