Myron (Mike) Carman, a graduate of Toledo Libbey, was an offensive center and linebacker on the teams of 1946-1949, teams that were 26-14-2 and played in four post-season Glass Bowl games. Mike Carman was first-team All-Ohio center as a freshman and first-team little All-America as a sophomore. He was co-captain of the 1948 Rocket team. Following graduation Mike spent 15 highly successful years as a high school coach here in Toledo, and was an active supporter of his Alma Mater as a member of the Alumni Association, the Varsity "T" Club, and the Rocket Club.
