Lenny Rhodes lettered in basketball from 1947-50 and started on teams that were 18-6, 21-5, 13-2 and 23-6. Rhodes scored 811 career points but was best known for his rugged rebounding and defense. He once held Bowling Green 6-11 all-American Charley Share to six points in spite of giving up seven inches in size. He played the pivot at only 6-4 and at other times played forward and guards as well. Rhodes played professionally with the Baltimore Bullets of the Basketball Association of America.
