Kim Sekulski becomes the third Rocket women's basketball player to be inducted into the UT Hall of Fame. She is a member of the 1,000-point club, having finished her career with 1,684. Her career point total still stands as the fourth highest in school history. She was named to the All-MAC squad three times in her career and was the 1990-91 Mid-American Conference Player of the Year. She led the Rockets to their first-ever Mid-American Conference title in 1991 and their first-ever appearance at the NCAA Tournament that same year. Sekulski also ranks third all-time in career rebounds at UT with 907. She also holds the MAC record for the most points in a game with 42. After finishing 14-14 her freshman year, the Rockets went on to a 74-22 record over her final three seasons. She led the Rockets three straight post-season tournament bids: 1989 WNIT (3rd place), 1990 WNIT (2nd place) and 1991 NCAA where they became the first MAC school to win their first-round game on the road by defeating Rutgers, 83-65. After the 1990 Women's NIT runner-up title, Sekulski was named the tournament MVP.Â
