Joe Corfman earned first-team All-MAC honors in 2010 and 2012, as well as first-team American Baseball Coaches Association All-Mideast Region accolades in 2010. Primarily used as a second baseman and third baseman, Corfman started 38 games as a freshman, hitting .314 with five homers and 30 RBIs. As a sophomore in 2010, Corfman hit .383 with seven homers and a team-best 61 RBIs. His season totals in RBIs, run scored (69) and doubles (20) all rank No. 2 on Toledo’s all-time list. As a senior, Corfman hit .333 with 21 RBIs, and was first on the team in runs scored (52), hits (78), doubles (16), total bases (105), slugging percentage (.449), stolen bases (22), multi-hit games (24) and hit by pitch (11).  A three-time Academic All-MAC selection and a four-year letterwinner, Corfman ranks first in hits (261), first in doubles (54), second in runs (177), second in total bases (375), fifth in RBIs (134) and 10th in batting average (.329) on UT’s career list. He had five hits against Olivet College in a single game in 2010 and had four hits in a game on five separate occasions.
